Renovating a vehicle to live in can be a daunting task, but hopefully these simple steps help. Expect to do twice as much work as you assume it will take. Cutting corners on your build is gon' create problems down the road.
First things first. Make sure your vehicle:
-Has a solid engine
-Fits into a parking spot
-Is cheap to fix mechanically
-Gets reasonable gas mileage
-Is made of a material that doesn't rot
Once you have your vehicle, it's time to tear it apart and rebuild it. Here's how we did ours:
Once you've completed your framing, simply attach your coroplast or wood to the 2X2 studs. Then it's up to you how you'd prefer the interior layout organized. It might help to measure everything and create a visual blueprint of the layout. That way you can make sure everything fits before moving all that heavy stuff around. Feel free to shoot us a message at email@example.com if you have any questions. Good luck!
